ABOUT
Saffron is the most luxurious spice in the world and we want to share it with you. Since ancient times it has been used in cooking and medicine, and now we want to bring this gourmet ingredient into your kitchen!
Trentham Fields is a small scale farm located just outside picturesque Daylesford, where we grow and hand harvest our Saffron. The cooler climate and rich fertile earth of the area make this perfect location for the rare spice to flourish. Since 2017, the farm has produced high-quality saffron in small quantities, which is dried and packaged on-site. We supplied local and Melbourne restaurants with our Australian grown saffron, as well as sell it at farmers markets and online.
Our micro-farm is run by Christine Rawson-Harris who has lived in Trentham for more than 20 years, after moving from Austria. Trentham Fields is a very personal affair for her as she hand plants, weeds and picks the crops.
We will be harvesting our Saffron in mid 2022, so please subscribe for updates.
